Our Updated OCS Safe Reopening Plan

This is our UPDATED version of the Orangeville Christian School Safe Reopening Plan. As you take the time to carefully read over the document, please understand that we will continue to maintain open lines of communication for any questions or concerns. We firmly believe that parents are vital partners in the education of their children.

Our plan, designed in consultation with public health officials, provides a safe, nurturing environment for your child(ren) by balancing the risk of direct infection and transmission of COVID-19 with the impact of school closures on their physical, mental, and spiritual health.

Our COVID-19 OCS Protocols

Please find the COVID-19 – OCS Protocols Manual below.  This manual contains information and protocols that were previously distributed to our staff and families before the beginning of the school year.

Now that our school has begun, it is time to review and reacquaint ourselves with our protocols for screening, hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette, and physical distancing.

We also understand that it is critical that we continue to assess the risks associated with COVID-19 throughout the school year, and adjust accordingly based on the development of further evidence, change and local epidemiology.
