I hope that you had a blessed weekend, celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus. As I spent some time reflecting on the incredible gift of Jesus dying on the cross for my sins and God overcoming death and Satan by raising him from the dead, I was reminded of Colossians 1:17.
“He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” Colossians 1:17
This was a key verse at a conference I attended a couple weeks ago, and it has had a profound impact on me. In Christ, all things hold together, including Orangeville Christian School. It is not our responsibility as leadership, staff, parents or students to hold OCS together. Christ already has that! We are responsible for taking the next faithful step in the direction that God is leading us. What a blessing to know that Jesus has OCS in the palm of his hand. We can know this with absolute certainty because of what Jesus did for us on the cross and through the resurrection. I am so thankful to serve a God who is so incredibly loving and powerful at the same time.
I invite you to pray with me for OCS and the OCS community, that we would earnestly seek God’s will for OCS and strive to take every next step in faithfulness to him. He is our rock and our foundation, and he is the one who holds OCS together.
“My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Colossians 2:2-3.
Blessings,
