Our entire school community would like to thank Mrs. Gabrielle Van Dyk for her many years of service at Orangeville Christian School. Since September 2011, Gabrielle has taught in various classrooms and at various teaching percentages. From part-time maternity contracts to full-time teaching assignments that included rotation to every class in the school, Gabrielle has been a blessing to many students during her nine years at OCS.

Mrs. Van Dyk
Perhaps Gabrielle is best known for her organization and efficiency. She is often the first one to complete tasks assigned by the principal and she wears the moniker “keener” with pride. Her organizational skills are clearly obvious every morning as she never forgets to bring her coffee mug and to wear her stylish red stilettos for porch duty.
If there was an award for the family that travelled the most kilometres to and from school in a year, Gabrielle, Adelaide and Arya would be our winners. God has provided travelling mercies for the Van Dyk family, and we are extremely thankful for this precious gift. Gabrielle’s husband, Tim, has also made the trip to Orangeville on several occasions and his technological gifts and talents have been a rich blessing to OCS.
Gabrielle, Tim, Adelaide, and Arya will be moving from Barrie to Simcoe at the end of the school year. May God continue to bless you richly as you entire this new stage in your lives. On behalf of the entire OCS school community, I would like to thank you again for all your years of faithful service. You will all be missed.
Sincerely,
Rick Schenk
Principal
